I've had good results with lots of different powders. Problem is most people will burn you in effigy for not using IMR 4895...fact is I've used everything, factory soft point...all types. We didn't know the difference before the internet and we didn't even hear about anything breaking or exploding... Show us a couple targets if you get the chance?

Agree wrt having good luck with "non-traditional" components. As we all know reloading to obtain military M1
or M2 or Mx ball/AP performance using historical-type components is great stuff as is trying different things to tailor loads for accuracy, recoil, cost etc.. The experimentation is fun
. The IMR Enduron powder line looks to offer good performance (at least 4166 does) with easy cleaning. Also performance over temperature is advertised as being more consistent.
I'm away from home for work this week but will post target this weekend.
