The Savage, we'd need to see more pics and close ups to see if it's been refinished by someone other than the military. They were all issued at one time or another, specially Savages. And for sure they were all fired, they had to be proofed and targeted.
Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Hey guys. Many thanks for the welcome and the knowledge, much appreciated.
Too bad about the Longbranch, a shame on many levels.
Here a picture of the receiver on the Savage, I hope it helps.

There was a batch of new in the grease Savages many moons ago. That looks like one that was cleaned up. Obviously it will bring a premium over lesser specimens.

I'd love to be able to get my nose right over that Savage but as already said...it does look very nice...

Hey Dan, thanks for the welcome. Lol, not sure if they samba but they do look good together. I don't have a lot of detailed pictures at the moment but I can have some more taken.

Hey guys, Just wondering how to price these rifles. I have considered entering them into an auction, can anyone recommend an auction house?

If it's an auction house, don't they go to the highest bidder? As for which, what difference? They'll sell.
