Here are a before and after of a real nice Win. Stock that had the side cut out for a scope mount. That is not the rifle that goes with the stock, it is in the pic for display.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Pretty work. Don't they call it a 'Dutchman' when you fit a piece of material where a piece was previously removed?
