Arms list response
Hi Guys,
For those of you who frequent the Arms List, do you have trouble getting the sellers to answer your E Mails??
I have sent 7 in the last couple of weeks to 4 sellers looking for information and nary an answer, like there isn't anyone behind the listing.

I find Armslist to be about a 50/50 chance of someone serious about buying or selling. Many of the rifles I approach are scams. Others are trollers looking for something; I don't know what. But it is a free service, so you have to harden against those that take advantage.
Even gunbroker is filled with thieves and cons. I'm currently tracking a repro USMC M1c mount and scope, mount purported to be original, but is not. GB has lost it's ethics in that they no longer guarantee a transaction, nor do they post the questions and answers at the bottom of a post. This keeps people like me from warning people that they are bidding on a fake.
