Nice looking rifle, very nice collection pic too, a group any of us would be proud to own..
Jon made the leather caps for my Lyman Alaskan scope on my 1903A4 build, he does very nice work.

A nice honest rifle. Slightly curious in that it bears twin Harry Hardwick crownD6E examiner's marks either side of the bolt way - more typically the D6E lies to one side & an Enfield examiner attached to the BSA factory's stamp goes the other side (crownE7E IIRC). However, I'm sure it's nothing untoward - just makes the rifle a little more interesting!

How did you get your lens cap to look brownish like that? the one I got from Moore Leather looks almost pale white. Trying to darken it up.

I recall others with this double D6E coming up in previous threads. At the very least it would appear that Mr. Hardwick was a busy man in '45!

I asked Jon to weather it a little for me. I used a little dark tan boot polish and then left it by my front door for a week or so.. that did the trick
