Bolt labeled "A" "SA" and 620
Have bought a 1919 MK1. Barrel is 1-19 and bright. Stock seems to match with proper cart. Bolt seems to be a replacement and is marked as above. I have searched the IN and not found and thing that helps. Would love to find the bolt is original but I have doubts. All marks are on the handle root top and bottom, and thanks in advance.

We have a forum for finding original parts for rifles... By the way, we'd love to see it. Got pics?

Where are the specific markings located? Top of bolt handle? Bottom? Safety lug? Is the handle straight or slightly swept?

Bolt marked 620 on top of handle root, A and SA on bottom of root, swept, no other marks found but have not taken apart yet.

This looks like it, the explanatory notes state SA also marked on bottom. It should also have a square safety lug.
Sometimes stampings are only partially legible or missing. So if I'm reading JB's chart correctly it's a late war replacement made by SA for Remington. Rick may correct me though.

That may be it. I notice that despite what I was told, the Pedersen parts seem to be in the gun. The sear has the second part, the cutoff spindle is spring loaded and slotted. The cutoff and trigger I have not yet de4termined but will work on them also. Otherwise an untouched, good condition rifle. As for the bolt, there is no evidence of the missing "8" before the 620 and that is stamped in individual fashion.

That is quite a bonus having MkI parts still intact. I would use link above, and search a proper year bolt, both here and auction sites.
