Enfield No.4 Mk.1 (no star) 2/48 (F) ?
Faz marked no.4 Mk.1 2/48 dated.
the serial number PF9347 does not correspond to my limited library, which state there should be 5 digits starting with a 2 for ROF.
No FTR stampings, has an hollowed out bolt handle and grooves in the rear hand guard.
I also searched the archives but came up empty.
Any insights would be great.

It is a bog standard Fazakerley made post war No4 Mk1 with their post war PF serial number prefix. Like I have said a zillion times and will say a zillion times hereafter, the presence - or lack of - fluted handguards, hole-in-bolt, different safeties, varied assortment of different manufacturers parts has absolutely no bearing on it. It is what it is, a post war Fazakerley made No4 Mk1.

And a pretty late one, at that. Seems like the MkII's were not far behind!!
