Extractor cut details etc, for the MKII / 1905
Hi all,
does anyone have good photos, or (better yet) drawings of the standard extractor cut & feed ramps on the MkII /1905 ross's in .303? Mine has a "ringin" barrel that was very poorly fitted, which won't help at all for guidance when having the new replacement barrel fitted.

You have found a gunsmith prepared to cut the threads found on a Mk. II barrel? Let me know your email address, and I'll take some photos.

Any CNC shop should be able to set up to cut the thread and the slots etc.
Superfluous to mention it I'm sure, but the breeching shoulder on the barrel should be left a bit long initially and then turned down to fit the particular action being used.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
