This one is very similar.
Belgian folding trigger revolver. Please help identify. | The Firearms Forum - The Buying, Selling or Trading Firearm Forum
You'll probably find that every gun maker made their own versions so there could literally hundreds of variations. I doubt they were ever an issued arm, but possibly private purchase by officers to scare off/shoot any dog worrying their horse.

Looks like a Bodeo, but I'm no expert.

It's a Velo Dog, as Brit plumber said. Its design kinda looks like a Bodeo but it's not. It was used to scare dogs while riding a bike. The word "Velo" is a french word and means "bike".
Thank you all for your interest!

Reminds me of an old joke........... A man goes to the local police station and complains to the constable at the desk about a neighbourhood dog which seems to be chasing every one on a bike. 'Mmmmmmmmm..........' thinks the constable and replies....... 'well take his bloody bike off him then.....'
