    For the collection

Got these today fairly cheap the Riverbrand is 243 so reasonably common the 32 Rim fire was a good pick up $20/Au ea. Happy!

Footnote: oh yeah I am back on 2 wheels my wife finally relented brought a 2008 1100 Honda XX Super Blackbird so after a break of 30 years I am back and my word I must say the new bikes have got some poke apparently this ones good for 300kph not for me been there done that but its nice to know the power is on tap if needed.

Pretty cool. I think they quit making those in 2007, so you must have a last year production bike. I tried a CBR but it was too much on my back, so I stayed with Harley and a more upright riding position. At least you know where the name came from, another speed record holder.

That be the one Jim, oh yeah the titanium bird behind the bike can sit on my front lawn any day I did hear a whisper years ago they were going to revamp them to fly at Mach 3+ but it fizzled out they may have something better now but Kelly Johnson & the team got it right more than once with their designs three I know are the P-38, U-2 & SR 71

    "The Blackbird"

OOops my fo par thought it was a 2008 it is not sorry guys so they as Jim said stopped the Birds in '07 mine is a 2005 build with 42365klm on the clock not quite up to my clean yet have to do the rims polish and put a new rear tyre on $385/Au fitted.
They use ceramic beads now to balance wheels that go inside no more stick on weights so thats a newy to me lots changed over 30 years since I gave up the bikes......

Also a picture of my last bike sold in 1987 the venerable Honda VF 1000R
