Need Info On FN 1910 Pistol
Friend has FN 1910 pistol, .32. Has no serial number. In excellent condition, doesn't appear to have been reblued. Also has see through grips on it. New to me. I've done some preliminary research and the logo on the side of the pistol doesn't match what several sources claim I should see over the production of the pistol. "FABRIQUE NATIONAL D'ARMES DE GUERRE SA HERSTAL BELGIQUE" over BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE.
Every reference I can find does NOT include the "SA" in the script.
Anyone familiar with this pistol in terms of lack of serial number, possible date of manufacture that can help?
Thanks!

"...has see through grips..." As in clear plastic? Bubba did that.
The serial number is on the right side of the frame, just above the trigger. Among other spots on the pistol. If it's not there, where you are matters a great deal. Moreso if the S/N has been removed by somebody.
There should be no 'SA' on the slide. Can you post a picture?

The clear grips are somewhat common. They are usually made from the windows of a crashed aircraft. Sometimes this was done as a handcraft akin to 'shell art' and simply out of creative spirit. Sometimes the grips were broken already and needed replaced.
"Bubba" is a somewhat vague and usually derogatory term.

I'm thinking it may have been picked up during the war and modified as suggested...? They were after all carried by Germany
