Mauser K98 Rifle
Again, new to this forum and looking for helping confirming what I have in a couple items and determining what kind of value the items would have should I choose to sell them.
Here is what I have been told is a Mauser K98 Rifle. Inherited this from my grandfather who was an engineer for the Army. Not sure where he acquired it.
Someone has relayed in the past that this is not the original stock for the rifle. In addition to what I have right now, curious if finding an original stock and restoring this to a more authentic condition would affect the end value or not.
I've attached as many pics as I can of the overall rifle and detailed pics of various Waffenamt codes and other markings.
Thanks to everyone for the help here.

Mauser Kar98 Rifle
Hello
Looking at the rifle displayed, the letters 'dot' on the top of the receiver indicate that this rifle was made by 'Waffenwerke Bruenn', of Bruenn, in Czechoslovakia. The date 1943 speaks for itself. If you could get an authentic Mauser K98kz stock then this would improve the appearance of the rifle and make it look more original. You would need to decide on the replacement stock you use as to whether you want to shoot the rifle or just have it as a display item. I have a K98kz rifle and have had to replace the stock as the original stock started to split just behind the action when I fired it.

Gosh, I think you had an all-matching Kar98k way back. You can find the correct stock and put it together again, start at ebay and take your time. Prices are all over the place. Good luck.

Don't junk the stock it has now after you find a replacement. It's a handmade job from a blank and not a very good one "no offense". Granddad may well have made it himself. Sporterizing Military bring backs and surplus was the hot thing to do back in the day.
