Ignorance is bliss when you can't change this sort of thing. You know this sort of destruction is still going on but it adds up and is painful. Some of that history should be obvious to even the most ignorant person. In addition, if they are not turn ins, they are obviously someone's stolen property that they were just too lazy to check for at an interstate level since some of those are clearly collectable and not gangbanger guns.
I see a lot of nice non bubba, unsporterized enfields, P14/M1917s just in that one picture.
Can I just call them up and tell them anything collectable was totally stolen from me, they just don't have a report on it!
Oh well, lots of dangerous superdeath murder kill assault 100 year old bolt action rifles and dangerous assault high capacity long barrel double barrel shotguns in that lot. Just remember, it's "for the children" like always.

Seems a bit hypocritical to me. Confiscate, sell back into the public hands you wanted them out of for money. Hummm................

Typical political agenda though, getting the dangerous things off the "Streets" and appeasing the ignorant voters by showing them you're doing something to keep them safe...same thing here.

I see a few Lee Enfields in there

Guess they better ban cars Jim then so we can all walk safely around then again we would be open to muggers it just pains me when so many people world wide are seriously injured or killed in motor vehicle accidents which costs the communities billions a year with insurances/medical bills and not much is really said.
But if a fire arm is involved then its like a fire in a Balsa wood factory the whole dam media opens up saying that fire arms are dangerous the only reason they are dangerous is because of low life's that should not be allowed to walk on this planet and when they are brought to justice they plead the sob story of a little bleeder or temporary insanity.
My thoughts are and I do not really care is for those that cause so much heartache to families using fire arms get the neck stretch please don't come back with the argument "well they need to be tried" if there is undeniable evidence they committed the crime either by video or witnesses then drop'em.
I once watched a doco on the judiciary system at work in a middle eastern court where the offender stabbed and killed a person (witnessed) he was found guilty the judge asked the family what justice they wanted they replied "death".
Without further ado he was led out to the exact spot he murdered the victim where they erected a temporary gallows then hung him on the spot, no appeals, no wasting tax payers money with staying in prison whilst they decide just a matter of hour or so in a holding cell, then car, then the dirt.........
R.I.P all those poor victims in Texas another tragic event that tarnishes all of us that sincerely enjoy collecting/owning or shooting fire arms
