Thanks for this article. I didn`t know I was collecting these, but I have acquired a few of these over the years as well.
I have a BSA Mk II Martini Henry musket, #1 Mk III musket converted by RFI in 1948, a ZULU and a Hunter shotgun, both in 12 gauge.
I also have a 74/80 Gras carbine bolt with oversized bolt head. So they must have made shotguns out of these as well.

Excellent article about a very neglected topic. These guns surface at shows and auctions all the time; little known about them.
