BM59E Build
I recently purchased a BM59E kit from Sarco. I sent the bolt, barrel and receiver away to seat the bolt, mount the barrel and headspace. I just finished assembling the rifle. I have two questions. One: My oprod and bolt run very smooth when not mounted in the stock. When I fully assemble the rifle it takes some effort to move rearward but seems to slam shut just fine. If I gently run the action I have to tap the bolt closed with my hand. I greased up the bolt lugs and channels and it doesn't seem to be obviously rubbing on something. Do I just need to break this rifle in? Secondly, I can't seem to figure out what this part is. Its a small rectangular piece that is maybe some kind of tool for the M1
sights? I took a picture of it next to the hand guard pin for reference. Anyway here are some pics of it next to my BM59 ITAL. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nice looking rifles, I think it may just need a break in. Take it through about 500 rds and see if it's still tight.

Thanks. I figured it would look cool next to the 1929 Model A. Still haven't gotten out to shoot but hoping to sometime next week.

I will. It has been tough lately to get to the range with work but I'm itching to get out there
