A couple of T snipers sold from the John Sukey collection Auction
Both went pretty cheap especially the Trials one. Not a lot of photos but It appears correct from what I can tell. Can't tell if that is a waisted front sight and split front band. Regardless, good price for a desirable rifle. I believe there's a 20% buyers premium added to those prices. Ray

Some one got a bargain with the Trials at $2,500 +20% still equals only $3K I reckon thats pretty cheap.
The second has a mis-matched scope according to the description though the transit case has the scopes serial do they always bar out the old scope numbers when replacing them or could this one have slipped through!

Not much doubt that the trials rifle has a conventional front sight...and thin band.

The Trials sniper was a restoration from a sporter. Mr Sukey mentioned it several times over the years.

If it was once sporterized the stock must have been cut back. I wonder if it is a different stock and hand guard now or if the original stock was lengthened with a new hand guard? Ray

John let me handle the trials sniper. It was a great restoration. He also gave my wife about an hour long desetation on his Vickers HMG complete with removal and install of the locking mechanism. He had three caliber groups too.
All around nice man. He will be missed.
