Installed The Badace NDT Mount For No. 4 Enfield
Today, in less than ten minutes, even one with two left hands and almost no tools like me, installed the Badace mount.
Looks good, feels solid and does not require any kind of permanent modifications.
In order to prevent scratches on the parts touching the mount, I used a bit of paper tape.
Tomorrow, I’ll go get my first optic ever.
I also bought the mount for the K31
.
Will wait for the next Schmidt before installing it, since I finally got mine zeroed perfectly and want to keep it that way.
Sorry for the poor pictures. They looked better on the phone...

I’m having trouble grouping. My armourer tells me he thinks the alluminium rail is the problem. I’ll try something one of these days to get the mount steadier.

Good luck ironing it out. I just dumped one because it had me thinking I couldn't shoot any more.

Absolutely right................only one way the Lee Enfield likes mounts unfortunately at 19T you can fully understand it.

If you want a good NDT base for your No.4, email Fultons of Bisley and buy one of their steel Picatinny bases. They are easy to install and solid as a rock.

Jim,
Solely a tonnage pressure test issue at 18T+ and the recoil, which will shift anything unless its correctly mounted and in steel, and a poor mount will usually pound the holes that hold a scope mount up into an oblong shape

I'm afraid Ovidio you may keep chasing a group with that set up as the front will just act as a spring board, I have a NDM in steel but you have to take the rear sight off for the 2 locating bolts to go through, it tightens/wedge clamps also onto the underside of the charger bridge they are not a very long pic rail but solid steel I still have the 1-4 x 24 Leupold here ready to chuck on one of my 4's and shoot in modified class.
I had an aluminium mount and junked it as it was far to flimsy.
