I think I may have caused some confusion. If you already have a Diopter System, all you'd need is the new design brake with the screw
alignment flanges and correct porting. It's a stand alone item. The new front sight that's threaded on both ends for the Anschutz
Adjustable Aperture and the Gehmann 1.5 Lens is also a stand alone item.............. as will be the Lens itself. No need to order it as a unit.
The Brake will come with the larger top, rear collar with 4 holes and screws so it can be used with or without the Diopter Front Sight.
Don't worry about the meet range officers. They'll be so impressed with the whole setup they'll say "That looks too cool to disqualify".

I used to shoot my brothers K31 often and with a shooting jacket the recoil is more like a shove. I'm sure you have a shooting jacket and use a sling if you're shooting at 1000 yards with those sights but i thought id recommend that. That is an interesting design... Would love to see a finished product. GP11 is very accurate, I've always loved 7.5 swiss. With my eye sight i cannot shoot that far, even with glasses. I don't view 7.5 swiss as a punishing rounds... But 308 win. in a light weight rifle with a 16 inch barrel isn't fun at all. Good luck to you.
I own a bunch of milsurp but a few of my favorites are my Lithgow smle 1942, Argentine 1909 engineer Mauser carbine and my newest favorite, my Swiss K11... It's a special rifle with a troop tag and the most accurate I own.

If you have old eye problem, an assist that works well is the Eyepal, Lyman makes it now (I think it was by somone else before)
Even with a rear peep sight it works better. I shot the 1911 7.5 and got a 5 shot 1.5 inch group at 110 yards a few weeks back.
The 1917 I had not worked up rounds for but I could see the target and sight well enough to shoot out at 110.
I was able to shoot my two iron sight target pistols for the first time in 15 years. Good sight picture and could see the target fine.
Only downside is they don't keep sticking to the glasses with the eletro static cling thing. Not sure why, I just taped on the outer edges onto my eye glasses for ht duration of the shoot.
