Local ad spotted for optimistic seller
Putting my 91/30 up here to see whats out there.
All matching numbers (with the exception of the bayonet) 91/30 Mosin Nagant. I'm 99% sure the stock was refinished as its a light color and laminated. Very clean and beautiful rifle. Bore looks nice, I've only ever shot 45-55 rounds of PPU out of it and it held up accuracy wise pretty well.. Only thing I replaced was the upper follower spring in the magazine.
Comes with a 1950s(?) sling, bayo, spare magazine parts and a few Amazon stripper clips. PPU ammo MAYBE if I keep it around for a while longer. Will send pictures on request. Attach an email to you PM and I'll get to you as soon as I can.
Cash:$450 obo
Trades: Whatever you got! Shoot me a trade offer and the worst I can say is no.

I have no idea why people are throwing numbers that high out there... is it because they're Russian
and cool? My LGS has Ukrainian refurbs that are in remarkable shape, counterbore also... They want $200. still to high but of course room for negotiation.

I’d pay $200 for a Mosin in good shape... Maybe even $250. But that’s my limit.

Not happening... Just because there is a dry spell doesnt mean the value goes up. They haven't been making ford pintos for years now and those havent gone up in value.

Value goes up with supply and demand. The supply dried up, there aren't any new ones, at least decent ones, coming into the country. Demand remains high, why I don't know but it is what it is. Everyone who has 20 of them is still sitting on them or feeding them into the market slowly. $250 has been the low around my area for about six months. Can still occasionally find one for less but $300 prices are also making appearances. I've thought about selling a couple of mine but I have a hard time getting rid of any gun. Not sure how many I have anymore as I traded at least one for a Finn rifle.

Speaking of which, just found this ad after I made my last post. Got a chuckle out of the description, it is the truth.
Good evening,
I have a clean, unaltered m91/30. Has sling, bayonet and ammo pouches.
Email for pics. It looks strikingly similar to every other one i have seen.
Located in Coopersburg
Asking $250
Not looking for trades but will take into consideration if it is interesting.
