BRIGANT stamp on CZ 27
I just acquired a CZ 27 made in 1928 and cannot determine what the "BRIGANT" stamp means. It is stamped on the left side of the pistol above the trigger guard on the frame. Is "BRIGANT" an import mark? Can anyone help with the meaning or origin of this?

I understand this is a older post but seen you had no replies.
Since I could see you've been checking in, I thought best to reply in case you never found a answer.
I happened by a BRIGANT marking today while looking for a CZ 27.
I found this:
'BRIGANT was used in the 1950s and 1960s for firearms exported by the FRANKONIA Jaged Company, one of the two major hunting and sports shooting department store chains in Germany
.'
