Nuts and bolts, where to get them
Many of us restore and/or recreate items used in military service, such as wood items. For these we need to use the correct screws and bolts to put them back in service or build them. Lately, slotted wood screws are hard to find, in fact, impossible locally. I have been using product from BlacksmithBolt for some time and find they are perfect. The price is good, shipping cheap, and fast. These are not plated either. If you need slotted wood screws or period correct bolts check them out (google is your friend).
To be clear, I have no interest in this company but do highly recommend them for the products they sell. John McPherson
