M16A1 Full Auto Year of Manufacture

    Hi everyone.
I have a recently acquired full auto Colt M16A1 and I am trying to find its year of manufacture from the serial number without any luck.
    Serial number is: 9326646
    No case deflector
    No US property marking
    Birdcage flash hider
    teardrop forward assist
Ive attached a few photos and any help dating this rifle would be helpful. I imported it into New Zealandicon from the Czechicon Republic about 3 years ago.
    Cheers

I was able to find the following on the AR15.com website...

    9,000,0000 series
    1970’s & 1980’s
In general these are 1970’s and early 80’s “A1” type 600 series commercial/export marked weapons. There are some exceptions, for example US Property marked Govt. Carbines.

How are you going to be able to keep it now that the buy back program has started? It is a bad situation for all of the people in New Zeeland thanks to one socialist PM.

its a stupid law that hasnt been thought out, the buyback only applies to semi auto rifles, full autos are still legal to own with the right licence and we can move some semi autos over onto our full auto licence.

If it came out of what was Czechoslovakiaicon, it might be one that was left in, and surplussed out of, Vietnam.
