AIA (Australian International Arms ) barrel thickness question ?
Hi fellow enthusiasts,
After buying a second-hand, and very lightly used, AIA (Australian
International Arms) M10 No. 4 about a year ago, and being very delighted with it, (the first picture)..
then, after seeing this NIB / unfired B3 pop up for sale a couple of weeks ago, I pounced on it....
I know that I paid too much for it, but I have never ever seen one come up for sale before. (the second picture)
Refreshing your memory, the limited edition B3 (150 units which were sold in an heartbeat ) is fitted with a tapered bore barrel from a GE 134 mini-gun and is rated for 100,000 + rounds life.
My question is, which AIA model has the thickest barrel? The B2 or the B3?
The B2 is the third picture.

Nice rifles and never seen in the US. A few of the 7.62x39's made it in before the Vietnamese Teak wood got them the banhammer.
You don't happen to know any production numbers for that one, do you?
Thanks,
