My pc is on it's last legs,making grinding noises,etc,old Toshiba Tecra 8000,win98,now here's my question,just bought a new one,Toshiba Satellite,Win.Vista SP1,160GB HD,2GB RAM,have a lot of data,text,pics,graphics to try and salvage from the Win98 system and load into Win.Vista,here's problem,Vista SP1 does not recognize Win98.,can't use Transfer Cable that works with other programs,so my question is,has anyone ever transfered files and etc. from an early Win.95/98 O.S. to the newer Win.Vista SP1 O.S.?,thought I read sometime back about a Win. Compatability Program that "tricks" the two sytems into believing they're related,anyone know anything of it?
