Blue and Lime Green Painted Garands
A friend of mine was telling me that he met someone at work who had 2 rare Garands that were former British
lend lease rifles. One was painted blue and the other was painted lime green. My friend said the guy showed him pictures and the rifles were painted these colors. Can anyone advise if this is true and these lend lease rifles were painted these colors? I know about the red band markings but never heard of these other paint schemes. Thanks!

Blue for the navy and green for the army of course.
Any other questions?

ROFLMAO! Since that was your response, I assume that the original blue/lime green story is not true. Thanks!
