    Late Springfield Armory rebuilds.

Am I the only person who really likes the quality of a late SA rebuild? I recently purchased a nice 10/65 fresh rebuild with a Winchester receiver and a 53 dated barrel, throat and muzzle are 0 and .5, nice dark stained new birch stock with a circle "P" and DAS, nice walnut handguards and really nice Springfield dark green park.

Over the years I have come across four of them and bought all four, they are kinda cool in my opinion. Springfield Armory was shut down by 1968 and all that talent disappeared. Now we live in the world Eisenhower warned us about, where defense contractors profit on war.

    SA Rebuilds

I have one like yours, the quality is just fantastic... this one has all the late rebuild features including a tack-welded saw cut gas cylinder. The fit and finish is superb.
