Enfield No2 Mk1*

Picked up a 1940 dated Enfield No2 Mk1* in 38 S&W (38/200). Anyone have any info on these, number produced etc. Is there any literature available on these??

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. There is a book by Mark Stamps and Ian Skennerton icon

called ".380 Enfield No.2 Revolver" that has alot of information in it.Try amazon.com or do a search for Ian's web site for a copy.

There was an article on the forum very recently that included a series of photos of a beautifully sectionalised Enfield No2 revolver. Call it up. Nice little revolvers...............
