New Addition: 1953 Remington 721 in 300 H&H
I just brought another Remington 721 home less than an hour ago, haven't cleaned it yet.
Nice condition 1953 in 300 H&H. Can wait to clean her up and take her to the range. RCBS Dies on the way...
Just need to find some 300 H&H brass to reload, seems to be the hard part.

The Lyman Reloading Handbook 43rd Edition shows 300 H&H loads using a 250 gr jacketed soft point at around 2400 fps
(never saw 308 dia 250 gr SP bullets ?)

Interesting rifles, but clearly not in the same league as the Model 30 in terms of fit, finish and fixtures.

You can form it from other magnum brass...

The long-going M30 vs M721/700 debate! Model 30 is really only a sporterized Model of 1917. Rather than continue the long debate let's just say each has its attributes, and it's really user preference, and leave it at that.
