    M96 Swedish Mauser

This is the favorite of all my rifles. I got this one several years ago for a song and a dance even though I am left handed and steer away from bolt guns generally. It's in incredible condition to be 116 years old and is all matching, wood & steel, except for the cleaning rod. But that is not unusual for this year model. As I said, bolt guns are awkward for me so I stick to semi-auto, lever action, etc. Though I do not get rid of guns, this one would be the last one to go if I had to move them.

The wife had to have surgery on her neck a few years ago and can take very little recoil. She gave up firing our Savage 110 in .270, but she is fairly comfortable shooting the low recoil 6.5x55mm!
