In
Denmark
we have a lot of Rebuild Mauser 98 Match Riffels.
They were Build at a Danish Company :" Otterup Gevaerfabrik" in the 60-70ies
using different used Mauser 98 reseivers, bolt, magasinhousing and florplades.
Fitting a new stock of there own, A Shultz & Larsen Match barrel in 6.5x55 swede or 7.62 Nato.
Match trigger group and Match sight. The riffel was called Otterup M69.
It were a very accurate Riffel, but Outdated Today.
They coming up fore sale from time to time. And good prestin examples are sold very cheap: about 500 Dkr. (73 us$)
So Many Danes buy them and rebuild them for Hunting or other kind of target riffels or rebuild them to Tactical style Riffles.
So here are some pictures of My Tactical rebuild Otterup M69. It was build on a
K98k
243, 1939 dated reseiver in 6.5x55 Swede.
I know this not a collection input. But anyway a Mauser related input.

I don't have much interest in modern stuff, but this really floats my boat being made from an old K98k that they still have retained the markings on....marvellous.
Just have to work out how I can find one like yours and get it to the UK
....
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.
