Sculpture finished

Well It's been a long time but I have finally finished the sculpture! It is in bronze coated resin. It has been accepted into the National Sculpture Society's 88th annual awards show in South Carolina. I tried to put in some shots of the rifles. A big thanks to Aragorn243 who let me scan both rifles I needed.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Excellent details, looks like a Chinese soldier up top and the rifles are Commission 88 and #1mk3, then an Aussie, a Commonwealth either Canadian icon

or Brit and two French icon

with Adrian helmets. One looks like Algerian by his features and the other national French... I can see the wood grain in the Aussie rifle... Nice. Even my wife likes it.

Thanks for all the nice comments. The overall dimensions are 54"L x 36"W x 35"H. The title is "Passchendaele". Each soldier represents one of the major countries involved in that battle; Highlander, Australian icon

, French

, British

West Indies, Belgian, Canadian icon

and the guy they're pulling out of the hole is the German icon
