That's too bad. We didn't even get to see those here because they're prohibited. I wouldn't mind having one in 9mm myself.

My personal everyday CCW is their little LCP in .380. Not much goid past 10 feet even with the red dot laser (?). It is easy to carry but the take down pin broke once and the extractor has broken twice. I'm still looking to replace it with a P365 but that is damn near impossible since they are not on the approved California roster for new gun sales.

That suggests to me a violent action when it fires. Maybe too lightly constructed. Thus light to carry...

They said they would fix it each time,and each time it sat at the shop for 3 weeks. The first time with the extractor they fixed it and about a year later it fell out. The last 2 times,I gave up on them, pulled it out of the shop, ordered the parts and fixed it myself. I added a stronger recoil spring which helped to reduce the recoil quite a bit.

That sounds about right. It works with everything else too.

Makes it nicer to shoot too! It is definitely a "shoot and scoot" personal defense weapon, but my P226 won't fit in the pockets of my pants and shorts!

I liked my 226 also, was something you could count on.

In 30 years of service and then 8 years of retirement, my 226 only failed once but it was my fault. Somehow, I loaded a .380 in the magazine. The 226 fired it but wouldn't extract it! My friend just purchased a 226 with the.40/.357 Sig option. He showed up a couple weeks ago to shoot it (he has very limited experience). He started having problems right out the gate with it firing but not extracting. When I checked his pistol out, sure enough, he had the .40 barrel installed with .357 Sig ammo in the magazine. Needles to say, I was impressed that it had no problem firing them!
