Help on US armed forces original jacket with Alpha MA-1 style but M-65 type fabric
Hi. In the 90s I used to have a jacket that was a little older than that (i think) and I never saw again. Perhaps you can help ID it. It was an original US armed forces (don't remember the branch) jacket with the cut and shape of the Alpha MA-1 in a fabric resembling the M-65 jackets, so no glossy. It was warmer than a regular MA-1 and OD green inside and out.
I believe it had NATO markings but I remember that I came to the conclusion it was US.
It had been a gift bought in the US and I lost it many years ago. I never found any picture or reference to it online. I was told it could be a tanker jacket but never found a similar one. Mine was thicker, warmer.
