Did Ishapore receive Long Branch rifles like New Zealand did? 1942

I believe they received war stocks of No4's
(all makes) Stens,Brens etc and brought back home as the British Indian Army from Burma and Indochina.
So the newly independent Indian Army had a good number, plus they 'liberated' a good few from Pakistan.....

Based on some I have, India did FTR No.4, No. (T) and No.5 rifles. In some cases they added new serial numbers.

Canada sold No 4's to India, and Pakistan, late 1948. I know Pakistan ordered 100,000, but don't know about India's numbers.
