    Amen!
I just ended my last book of 2021, got the third jab and am preparing the embers for a not-so-traditional bbq in the cold with family and pals.
We’ll enter 2022 in the best possible way.
Let’s hope that it will stay the same for at least one full geological era…

I'm hard at work planning our evening of napping, pizza and watching the ball drop in our PJ's. Sadly, this will force me to soon leave for Walmart.

Kids are watching a movie, we're sitting by the woodstove--life is good. Best wishes for 2022 to all of the members of this, one of the best (if not the best) and friendliest forums on the internet.

My dog was sad her gift didn't make it in time for Christmas, and almost talked herself in to a great deal on a really nice 91 Carcano carbine as a consolation. Took me a couple beers and some searches for proper bullets to talk her out of it. Shame. I would have loved another reason to finally start casting (right now my only reason is a trapdoor Springfield), but I couldn't even find a correct mould.

It was a busy year in my shop, and I just about have my backlog of rifles done...all that's really left is my krag project. I got frustrated with the stock and moved on to other things. If one is not in a positive frame of mind doing delicate work like that, it can only end in disaster - at least that is my experience.
