A question for Australian collectors
Can anyone comment on the unusual sling arrangement on these MLE Mk I rifles? Can you identify the unit? The date is probably 1902, they are wearing their QSA medals.

unit , these ar ethe 3 units for 1901-1902 . My uncles grandfather was killed in South Africa ear;lie rin the boer war.
