    Lone Survivor

This puts an interesting light on what apparently went down after Marcus Luttrell was rescued and taken to the village.
The person that saved him gives their side of the story and how he and his family were hunted by the Taliban relentlessly for over 10 years until they got a visa to go to the USAicon.
Its not meant to inflame a debate rather try and put out there the other side of the coin about that mission.

According to the doc the Taliban knew the SEAL team was on the ground due to the fact they were alerted to the chopper dropping the team off they then tracked them.
It had nothing to do with the goat herder's being let go then running off to tell the Taliban the mission was already compromised.
Anyway sad to say the differing opinions of the two main players sadly saw the end of their friendship that was forged by that event.

They were using unsecured comms while they were moving. Tali was well aware, that's how they moved in so "Quickly"... They'd been moving the whole time.

Sadly, even the best of us make mistakes in service when you think your adversory isn't up to it. What do they drill into you...."NEVER underestimate your foe".
Great that the guy and his family finally got safety in the U.S for the GREAT risk they all took keeping Luttrell alive so he could pass on his engagement experience so noone else has to endure that in the future
'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA
