75mm shell casing
Any ideas what a 75mm shell casing from 1944 would be worth? Thanks for any help?

That's a clear enough pic...you don't need to send me any. That one will do nicely... The 75mm cartridge case M5A1 was made for use with the 75mm Pack Howitzer M1
(later redesignated M116).
Here's one sold on Icollector recently... WWII U.S. 75MM M5A1 BRASS CASING
Not that expensive. If it had been the long 75mm for the Sherman it could have been over $100...

U.S M18 75mm X 350mm case
Info from another site ~ The 75mm M18 is the same size (75 x 350mm) as the French
75, but is actually the standard U.S. 75mm gun cartridge case, either as a wheel mounted field gun, or in the various tanks using 75mm guns (M3 Grant/Lee or M4 Sherman, etc).
Here is a pic of my M18 case stamped normal which I gather was for the charge loaded the BB Co head stamp I could not find any information on.
Pic #3 I have put it against my French 75mm QF case (Rt side) and they look pretty close but I'm not sure the French round could be fired in the American piece & vice versa.
303 Round for scale.

Here is a photo of a US Sherman tank extractor for the 75mm case. i removed it from the breech block as I thought it was interesting. Tanks were going to range for targets

RCS do you know or could you identify please the manufacturer for my 75mm made by BB Co.
I like stuff like that having collected little pieces odd ball gear over the years.

Cinders, I wish that some information was available to help you - but just do not know at this time.
Another example: of all the Thompson sub machineguns manufacture during WW2 there is not any
record of serial numbers by month or year available.
