Well I had to run the GSXR as it has sat for a while and its not a good practice to leave high performance bikes just sitting there the fluids need circulation. (That's what I tell the wife.)
Anyway there is a place in the back roads surrounded by farm land and cattle where there is a memorial for our WWI - WWII personnel who never came home again it's called Brookhampton.
Its very peaceful there not much traffic a creek in the background where you can make out cattle behind the memorial.
We are unsure who keeps the place but the memorial is next to a hall where very occasionally a farmer may have a do or dance.
But its a good rest spot we often stop here as the wife wanted to have a break and take some happy snaps of her bike.
I find time to pay my respects to them, those that went away so I can enjoy this beautiful lush country side area.
There are a few on there with same surnames so could be brothers, father/son who knows the only certain thing is they never saw Australiaagain.
Rest in peace.
(I know dotted around yours and our countries are these monuments for those that went away never to return, I think it is most important we never forget what they did for us.)Information
