Another Israeli Goldberg scope but with the mount this time.
The scope and mount looks "kosher"
The rifle, other than a few Israeli markings is suspect, HOWEVER I have seem some very suspect units in the IDF museum and they look similar, from memory.
I will try and find some of the pictures I took in the IDF museum and see if there any consistency.
I do question the upside down S however and few other stampings.
Unfortunately few close up pictures.......

The rings on this one are filed indian or chinese "original" production

The scope is a genuine Goldberg scope..
I'd really hate to put money on the rings being Chinese or Indian.
The bases and mounting is certainly not to spec, but a lot of stuff I saw in Israel was "not to spec"
A lot of Israeli equipment that was made was about the quality of the Chinese and Indian items being made noways.
The Israelis just did investment castings of what they had spirited away from the British
during the mandate.
The MAGEN DAVID on the scope and rings look "kosher" to me and they are consistent with the markings on my Goldberg scopes.
The Israeli's also made a brass mount as well and one is winging its way to me now.
I was not able to find a TSADE (Israeli proof) on the rifle but some of the photos sucked and you could not expand them and see any detail.
The rifle is a cobbled up piece but the scope and mount is good.
