Bit like Kitcheners WWI poster like ~ have an adventure I'm quite sure they would have something to say after they got home, but for most silence consumed them.
And I'll be honest what would a civy know about the privations, mateship, horrors, fear and sacrifice that the chaps suffer in conflicts.
Even today they are struggling to help the vet's sooo many fall through the cracks.
We here in Aus are waiting and will be for a fair while on the results and recommendations of a Royal Commission on why so many of our ex servicemen are killing themselves it's to little to late.
I hope its a start for the DVA & Govt to better help our soldiers.
