    Run in

    OMG we finally got a bout of sunshine after nearly 2 weeks of rain!
    Took my 2006 GSXR750 out, got 1500 klms on the odo now had 68 klms on it when purchased so on the 03.06.2023 time to open the taps and see what these were all about.
    My friends wife has one an '08 model we have a very nice road of about 20 klms that is pretty twisty with a good surface.
    We did come across one new patch of unswept bluemetal roadworks, that was 2/3rds around a corner little bit of a slide but nothing to adventurous.

    Only really took it to 13500-14000 rpm redlines at 15000, stayed in 4th gear to keep in the power with good engine braking.
    I'll say this it changes direction very well very flickable got pretty fast on some of the short straights pretty impressed at its pick up, I may keep it.
    Sell my wifes 06 CBR1000RR and give her the Gixer but even that bike gets up and goes it's an ex track bike may have engine mods, I know it has a power commander IV on it an aftermarket fuel management ECU for better fuel mapping to revs = more power.

    It would be unfair to compare it to my V4S Ducati as the GSXR750 only puts out 150 crank HP where as my V4 is putting 206 HP at the rear wheel!
    But on a tight track I'd say it would be a pretty close match but that engine in the 750 really sings and I like him.........
