    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     There was a story about Commonwealth troops fighting in the jungle using a Boys to take out a shooter hiding behind a thick tree trunk.

    I have a couple here too, starting left behind the M36, three .55, two "T" Gewehr, 12.7, 14.5, spotter, .50 HMG.

    Your 12.7 is a hard to find second war headstamp, nice.

    Jim, my Soviet 12.7x108 is Chinese factory 41 date 64 (1964) came from Viet Nam where GI's often referred to as 51 Russianicon. Big rumor
    during war was that you could shoot our 50 BMG in the Soviet m/g but not the reverse -

    Yes, we heard those rumors too from our unknowing experts. I had to show the recruits later when it was my turn by bringing in training aids for illustration.
