The Things You See On eBay!
I noticed this post WW2 Belgium
Brodie helmet that was being sold as an "Original WW2 ARP Warden Civil Defence Helmet Home Front tin hat" and it looks as if there is a customer as it has now sold. All that someone has achieved has been to mess up a post war Belgium helmet that was a collector's item in it's own right. The markings are not even right which was what caught my eye initially. For a warden it should be a white "W" front and back.

The other item that I noticed was this vintage electric bell of which I have a couple very similar, in my collection of vintage electrical items. Although it appears to be marked as WW1 WD I don't see the connection to dug-outs. I have not seen or heard of this type of bell specifically being used in WW1 British
military dugouts before although it may have occurred, possibly(?). Are these bells known to have been used in WW1 dugouts?
