    Gun Safe Shrinkage!

I think my gun safe is defective, I cannot seem to fit all my rifles in the safe anymore. Every month it seems to get smaller and smaller! Anyone else have this issue? Is there a safe stretcher available anywhere?

I've sort of inherited some new gear and am suffering the same issues.

All safes packed to the gills, some rifles muzzle down, bolts staggered, etc. And yet, with a little bit of rearrange, there always seems to be just enough room for one more. Ran clean out of wall space for another safe. I should probably concentrate more on handguns in the future. That, or ditch the couch.

Personally I think there are male and female firearms. I’ve noticed that when they’re all together in a nice, dark and safe space (our gun safe), after a while it appears procreation has taken place as new ones are seen.
At least that’s the theory I tell the boss.

I see a possible business opportunity- couches with horizontal gun storage under the seat cushions.

I have the same issue with all three of my safes... Was at Sportsmans Whearhouse and saw one of those safedoors for a room. I was taking a close look and without me saying anything my wife just said NO.

I don't see the problem. Add a few feet on the back of the garage or some such and pour some concrete. You could use cinder blocks filled too. Then you have a one car garage for a gun lockup.

I haven't been able to get anything into either of my two safes for 3 years. The big one has no racks in it. The smaller one does still have it's racks but my hunting rifles are in there and I'm not banging scopes around. If I took them out, I could probably get another dozen in that one.

There are few solutions to a shrinking safe - it affects every safe as they get on in age. Fortunately, safes sometimes have offspring. I woke up one morning to find a second safe in the room, already getting started on its crop of rifles. Didn't expect it to be fruit-bearing so soon, but sometimes it happens.

I have the same problem, all safes packed to the gills and no more wall space for any more safes. It's a great problem to have but it does get frustrating sometimes when it takes 45 minutes just to dig out something to take to the range haha.

The only "semi solution" I have found is rifle rods.
