    I did good

I found this old pic of when I could actually shoot fairly well as a few old bad habits have resurfaced for me and it is taking a concerted effort to rid myself of them.
That along with the 5 year hiatus we had from shooting after we got into the motorcycles.
    It was with my F-class Savage 110 6.5 x 284 140 VLD Bergers 500M for a 84.8mm 10 shot group which is 3.3 inches not that far off 1/2MOA & a 10 shotter to boot.

So now I have to work on not focusing on the trigger break as I tend to do.
And when I use kentucky windage I'm not focusing if the conditions have changed or focusing on the recoil rather than it being a surprise at the shot release !

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. You know, it's kind of funny: I can spend my range time working on my two-handed pistol technique, bringing in my group. Then, at the end, just for fun, I'll shoot off a couple of mags offhand and my groups are tighter than all the two-handed techniques yield.

Maybe Bob we are over thinking the situation which may manifest itself with tightened muscles trying to keep everything in the park !

FWIW, I will routinely shoot a higher score in prone rapids than I did in prone slow-fire at the 200-yd line. One of life's great mysteries.
