10" AFH bayonet price/value?
A friend of mine has a 10" AFH M1905 bayonet that is surplus to his needs. I don't have one so I figured I might take it off his hands. It is in a scabbard. The bayonet itself has either very thin finish or possibly just patina. It does not appear to be a cut down. It has been sharpened on both the cutting edge and the false edge. The grips are black plastic. The scabbard is in nice shape. I don't think it is worth a mint but I'd like to make a fair offer to my friend.

Picture please. It makes it much easier......
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

look on EBAY they sell all th etime and you can compare condition instantly. Be wary of prices and dont go by one, a remington 1917 just got bought for 380 which is madness

If you have the photos saved on your computer you can pull images from your file. When you're posting click on the icon second from the right above the message box.

Well, I've been trying to use the manage attachments tab to load 5 pictures for about a half and hour. It lets me pick the pictures I want but when I click the upload box, I get an error about "invalid post specified". Not really sure what that is all about. Now what?

Pictures are possibly too big resize them to a jpeg at 800 x 600 that should work

I just tried again. Now I get an error that says "upload of file failed". I'm about ready to give up trying to post pictures here.

dont give up - its frustrateing to get , but once you have it down its very much worth the effort , i know - as a computer illiterate it took me a couple evenings to figure it all out
in a sharpened condition but legitamate US production im going to guess about $35-50 but it might be more if the scabord is exceptional and the overall bayo condition is otherwise exceptional ,
there are a bunch of rewpros etc out there and without photos its hard to say

Assuming it's not a repro and it comes in the correct US M7 scabbard in the same condition...
$75 for one in Fair-Good condition. $150 for one in VG-Exc condition.
