Note: Pics of rifle provided courtesy of MILSURPS.COM member Stevo.

This rifle was purchased brand new/unissued at a gunshow in Edmonton, AB, during the mid to late 1980's. Cost $110. Vendor had multiple rifles in original Polish shipping crate. Rifle was completely covered, inside and out, with cosmoline. It still bleeds cosmo when it get warm from firing. Unlike other MN's, including a different Polish M44 I own, this rifle is zeroed for use with the bayonet folded. My other Polish M44 shoots 6 inches to the left at 50 yds with the bayonet folded, bang on with it extended.
