I've seen these Firstname/Lastname (or another first name again)/Number Gmail accounts on other forums and on craigslist. They are foreign scammers. Do not respond to them.
This happens even if you don't have a scope. The trick is to tilt the rifle as you pull the bolt back and maybe pull a little less vigorously. Though I'm not sure how well that will work for a scope.
