An update.
My dad took the carbine home with him as he is far more knowledgeable about carbines than I ever will be.
He said that the Trigger housing is marked Inland and is a type 3.

any ideas on how the stock stamp was faked? I collect garands and know a bit about how to tell if their cartouches have been faked. When it comes to shotguns...
